What does a place tell? How can it be told?

A short workshop (5 4-hour sessions) that took place at the ATA youth centre in Kamza, Albania.
It was centred around the specific location - the city of Kamza, its problematics and unique (recent) history.
During the workshop,A personalised map Kamza was created, through walks, recordings, drawings and other documentary methods, treating past and present, political and subjective points of view.
In addition to the map, a collective short film (18’30) was produced, based on monologues recalling the first day one arrived in Kamza. As most participants of the workshop were themselves born elsewhere it was often their own testimony. In other cases, another family member or friend was interviewed.
