Observation Workshop

The Observation Workshop was conceived during the Covid pandemic, in a period when people were limited to their home or to a very narrow environment.
The workshop aimed to take these constraints as an opportunity to re-look, re-listen, re-visit a very familiar environment, familiar to the point of becoming invisible.
The workshop consisted of 6 weekly encounters and a weekly observation assignment.
It started from the domestic space and stepped out into the public share, proposing a re-connection of the two.

Six participants, mainly of the core-group of the Jessy Cohen museum have followed the workshop.
